Winsock:socket is not connected

While downloading mails from two POP3 accounts, one downloads very well but the other gives "Connection error (Winsock: Socket is not connected)". This has happened suddenly after using lansuite for over 8 months. Even upgrading to 2004 version has not helped. Total PCs connected are 1+2.
