Spam Combat & Lan Suite
Posted by  Will Andrews  on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at 1:24:29 PM (EST)
Iím using Lan Suite 2003, which is great by the way. The problem Iím having is with another program called Spam Combat. This software is installed on the same PC as Lan Suite, but for some reason when it tries to get access to the pop3 account on my ISP to check for Spam. Lan suite is failing to dial up.

If a connection is already present, Spam Combat works ok. It is just when no connection is present and Lan suite would need to dial up.

I think that Spam Combat tries to access the ISP by going straight to the pop3 account and not out by a web page. Could this be the reason why Lan Suite is failing to detect the request to access the Internet?

Your Help would be much appreciated.
