Audit of outgoing e-mail
Posted by  Julian Druetto  on Thursday, February 19, 2004 at 8:04:17 AM (EST)
How I can maintain in an account all the email sent by the users of LanSuite.
I can do that using a alias for the incoming e-mail
Thank you

Never tried it, but you could probably do this with a mail rule. You'd have to launch Web Mail, log in as the user, then set the mail rule to forward all mail to you where the recipient is "*" (no quotes).

I don't know if this will work, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't.

What you mention works only for incoming emails but NOT for the outgoing.

As resellers we face demand from clients who wants to archieve all outgoing emails for quality analysis and keeping track of what emails are going out.

Thier are no archieving procedures in Lansuite. The best that can be done is for a user to put an email address in the BCC field to forward it to a 'SENT' id.
