How do I insert a page break in 602Text?

The "page break" option on the insert menu is always grayed out. The help screen says to use Ctl-Enter, but that doesn't work either.

Odd, it works for me (ctrl+enter)

What kind of file is it? Is it a ready-made file made in Word or something..or did you start a new file?

I am editing a DOC file that was originally created with Word.

I wonder if there some formatting in your document that is preventing this.. I can do it just fine with a Word 97 and a word 2000 doc I happen to have on my computer. Maybe there's a macro or something that's causing the problem.

I am not aware of any macros. I created the doc in the first place and didn't put anything into it except text (and some inserted page breaks).

Just tried creating an all-new doc, and ran into same problem.

Wait... It gets stranger! Going back to the doc I had created in Word, I happened to shift back and forth a couple of times between "Normal" view and "Page Layout" view.

Since then, I can insert page breaks.
