Pop serveur when running as service
Posted by  Jean-francois Bergeron  on Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at 9:41:30 AM (EST)
When I run Lan Suite 2003 as service on my Win2000 Server, I lost the possibility to use the pop server. So, I'm unable tu check the mail using a mail client. But, if the application run interactively on the server, the pop server run well? Is any solution?

Thanks!

I run LS2003 as a service fine. What is written to logs when it will not connect as PoP3?

Since it appears to be running fine as a desktop application, I can take it that nothing else is connecting to the PoP3 port of 110. Because Windows servers normally install SMTP, which uses port 25 and can conflict with LanSuite.
