Easy way to delete MANY old emails?
Posted by  Joseph Richmond  on Sunday, January 04, 2004 at 1:49:15 PM (EST)
Due to my own stupidity I am faced with almost 2000 messages in my 602 mailbox that I now need to delete. I started to do this through webmail and quickly found out that it would take forever. Is there a better way to do this?

In you webmail mailbox, select 'OPTIONS'.

Here you will see a option 'messages per page'. Change it to a high number. When you go back to your inbox, put a checkmark in the very first checkbox, this will check mark everything.

Since the recently recieve email is first,if you want to keep some of the more recent ones, it might be easier to create a folder and move them to it first.

Thanks, sounds much easier than what I was doing!
