We do not relay
Posted by  Frederick Davis  on Tuesday, November 11, 2003 at 9:11:34 AM (EST)
Hi,

A WIN98 client has received a number of e-mails that I think have asked for a open/read confirmation. Because LS2003 does not relay these replies are not being sent. (This is OK). But...

Everytime this PC switches on these reply requests must be being stored somewhere because the LS2003 log shows the same 'We do not relay' messages with every bootup of this machine.

Where in WIN98 are these replies being stored? I just want to get rid of them!

Fred.

It's probably because it's coming from a bogus account. Check the from: user and make sure it corresponds with a real user@defaultdomain.com

The 'From user' is blank.

I'm not really bothered about sending the message, I just want to know where it is being stored in WIN98 and how it gets activated everytime this PC logs on, so I can delete the damn thing.

Have you checked the queue in 602. Using the web admin interface its under "statistics/queue" you may be able to clean them out from there?
