In Lansuite 2004 I was able to set up LDAP with a search base of c=us. This worked fine. In Groupware, it requires a Base suffix of dc=localhost or some other dc value.

I used 602 all working. Then i Activated the tab for Ldap and now it starts up then close down again , what to do to rectivy this. I am in South africa so I add the ZA in the suffix C=ZA

I believe you will have to do a LDAP setup. Download the manual:

Setup 602lan with LDAP I can send myself an email from the client which is picked up in my outlook 2003. When I try sending a test from the server the client does not pick it up. Not getting any error...

602LAN SUITE 2004 does not support authentication to an LDAP directory, you must uncheck the box under LDAP account settings - This server requires me to log on.

I can't get the LDAP working.
Where I'm at: I set the port to 389, user+password to 'admin', suffix (c=BE). Opened up the XP firewall port 389 on the server.
