It should be possible, I had a similar setup but using the LS2004 w2k svr as the VPN Server.
DSL > LS2004(Firewall-VPN ports open) > LAN.
In your scenario you would have to add some mapped links...

Frequently my client pcs receive "Access denied by IP Filter" errors and the LS2004 must be restarted in order to get it working.
When LS2004 is stopped we receive a Debug and Memory error.

Thanks Robert,
The clients are using DHCP and there are only 4 users on the system.
Have you seen these Debug errors when shutting down LanSuite? I have seen this on 3 different installations...

LS2003 installed fine on XP Prof SP1. Everything works except that LDAP is not reachable from outside, e.g. using Outlook Express from a machine on the LAN.

Alas, it didn't help. Still it just stops. Sometimes when saving the (advanced) settings it gives me error-messages.
A few moments ago the app. shutted down with the message:
