Anti-Spam vs Whitelist  (602LAN SUITE 2004)
Posted by Robert Smith on Thu Mar 31 2005 at 9:51:02 AM

You'll have to remove the blacklist that is blocking them. The problem is the global and personal blacklists/whitelists reject/accept the e-mail (helo) command, while the DNSbl lists actually reject t...

Posted by Russell Waddington on Sat Jul 24 2004 at 1:39:15 PM

If you are using your own SMTP black lists, there is no auto-response; you just get a general 550 erro saying that the server refused the message.

If you are using DNSBL checking, if you edit the s...

Posted by Robert Smith on Fri Apr 23 2004 at 10:38:30 AM

Thanks for your reply. I thought it might operate that way. It seems it might be a good enhancement, if possible, to allow the DNSBL processing on POP3 collections. I would want to reject any email...

Could this have anything to do with anti-spam? Maybe. What happens when you turn off the anti-spam stuff?

I could see where it could take a while to contact your DNSBL lists and/or process it agai...

How come using Stand Alone SMTP server is so slow?  (602Pro LAN SUITE 2003)
Posted by Jason Mcclellan on Sat Feb 7 2004 at 4:19:16 PM

I assume you are talking about the delay in between these two lines?:

2:07:31 AM SMTP: [2] SMTP connection to 'dotnetserver' established.
2:07:49 AM SMTP: [2] Receiving message to 'C:\LANSUITE\i...
