Topic is Open Lan Suite has been pretty flakey lately. It won't pick up all of my outside mail. I get this error 4-5 times whenever I tell prolan to retrieve messages. Connection Error (winsock: socket is not connected) I've tried the following things so far: -Re/Installing the latest build of Lansuite -Replacing the network cable -Updating my NIC drivers to the latest version I'm really not sure what caused this problem it just occured in the middle of the day yesterday. Topic is Open Incoming mail is not being delivered to the local users. There are almost 500 files in the \io\internet folder. The log file does not have any error messages and my server has been running fine for a year now. Mail not delivered to local users

Topic is Open Lansuite installs OK on server PC but sendfax client doesn't install the printer driver on my win XP notebook. The install seems to go fine & double clicking the desktop Icon brings up the settings window which searches for and finds my 602 server, but ... there's no fax602 printer listed in my printers or in the printer selection box of my word processor. Installed the same sendfax client exe file on a win95 & win2k box & both set-up fine. Any ideas? missing sendfax printer driver

Topic is Open Hi, I've got a LanSuite2002 server which crashed when launched with error msg: Lansuite caused a general protection error. The application will now close and an error log is being generated. There was nothing in particular in the logs. We reinstalled the software and the server worked fine until some mails were received in a particular mailbox. It crashed again. We reinstalled and opened the mail in Outlook express. There were a few mails with Netsky virus. We deleted these mails and Lansuite could work again. My question is before doing any reinstallation, a backup of the lansuite folder was done. How can we get back the mails from the old backup? How can we exclude a particular mailbox which could have some mails with viruses when restoring? Topic is Open I have defined several users and all of them use Outlook 2000 as their mail client. Everything seems to be fine for several days, but when one of them tried to send a message (from Outlook) to five users (internal) and ONLY ONE of these mailboxes was full, the message was immediately rejected and NOBODY received the message. Is there a way to avoid this problem?? and let Outlook deliver the message to all the users who has enough space in their mailboxes, rejecting or queueing ONLY for full mailboxes?? Thanks. Topic is Open I am using LanSuite 2003 and my email client is Outlook 2000 (not Outlook Express). Although I have been using this combination sucessfully for straight emails, I am not able to send emails as faxes using the addressing convention fax_number@fax.fax or the shorter fax_number@fax as shown in the manual. However, I am able to print to the fax602 printer without problem. Is there a trick to using Outlook and Lansuite for faxing? Brian Sending faxes from Outlook

Topic is Open Are there any known issues with faxing to 0800 numbers using the FaxClient? It seems to fail regularly when other numbers go through sucesfully. Faxing to 0800 Numbers
