Hi !

We are from Brazil and we are getting some problems here with Lan Suite...
The first one is when we send an email from a client the message backs saying things like this:

Attached message cannot be delivered:
sipolattieng@uol.com.br - 'mx.uol.com.br': 554 <ES095225.user.veloxzone.com.br[200.149.95.225]>: Client host rejected: Access denied

Attached message cannot be delivered:
eduardotacla@ig.com.br - 'DNS': try again
Failed to send 2f234631 message even in 72 hours.

The other problem is that we cant configure the ICQ on a client. We've tried the socks 5 configuration but it could not connect. The only way icq connects is by HTTP but it keeps unstable...

Anyone to help?

Things to check:

In the SMPT > Advanced Settings, do you have the DNS1 and DNS2 set up?

Is port 25 open? Sometimes another application, like IIS SMTP, gets hold of port 25.

Which numbers i have to set up in DNS 1 and 2? Where can i find these numbers?

Thanks...

The above reply is valid if you are sending email directly using LS2003's smtp functionality. If you are sending smtp mail by you ISP, it does not apply.

To find the DNS servers, using Windows XP: start > run ..., type cmd. In the command window type, ipconfig /all. Near the botton of the reply you should see a line that says DNS Servers. The IP address on this line, and maybe on the line below it, are the ones to use in the DNS1 and DNS2 boxes.

Ok thank u a lot...

Ok, now im using the DNSs i saw in the command ipconfig/all, but i got a question... What will happen next time i reconnect the ADSL? Will the DNSs be renewed?? So everytime i connect the ADSL i'll have to change the DNSs numbers???

The DNS numbers normally stay the same, only your IP address changes. So next time you log in, you should still get the same DNS entries

Topic is Open As I was testing the my new mail account, I tried to send myself an email to my existing comcast account. I saw in the log that while being sent to comcast, it was stopped by
blacklist.mail.ops.asp.att.net
I have seen several issues with between this & Comcast in other furums on the web and I am trying to figure out how to solve this problem. I do not use a domain for my new '602' account if this makes a difference, just my public ip address.
Thanks again

Topic is Open Problem just started. I get a yellow banner at the top left of my browser page overlaying the LanSuite web email login screen which reads:
Error: Error reading M602.EMI configuration file
I enter userid/pswd and the message pops up. If I'm on my internal network and connect/login via the private address space 192.x.x.x it works fine, just not from the public routable address. My firewall is only forwarding port 25 and 80 at the box, no special rules... I've reinstalled the app (ver 2002) and even upgraded to the 2003 ver -- same problem. Hope someone has an idea and can help me out. Web Access to Email Failing

Topic is Open Hi,

we are running 602Pro Lan Suite 2003 Anti-Virus Editition (Max 10 users) Build 2003.0.03.0828.

Hardware : 2x1.6Ghz, 1GB Memory
OS : Windows 2000 last SP and fix

The Suite is collecting mail for us from our ISP and we have an office system that collects mail from Lansuite. Our office system sends mail via Lansuite.

It seems that my server has problem with POP3 Threads. We're not running lansuite:Firewall, http etc, only smtp and pop3 with anti-virus scanning. (both)

Any hints for me is much appriciated. =)

Topic is Open Feature request (I suppose)

Under 'statistics', option 'Active Connections' will display current open connections. This is a very nice feature to see who's doing what. It for POP/SMTP it displays numerous statistics regarding each connection, but for HTTP and SOCKS it displays nothing but 'x established connections'. It would be very useful if those could also display more information, such as the ip of each connected client. Currently, if there's bandwidth being utilized, there is no convenient way to find out who's got an open connection. Active Connections
