Topic is Open Has anyone else had problems running LS 2003 AnitVirus with NAV 2002 ?

This just started at the weekend, got a Winsock Error from LS which stopped collection of incoming mail from our pop server. I had to disable incoming email scanning in NAV to clear it.

We run NAV live update, so I guess they have changed something to cause the conflict. Trouble is NAV 2002 is no longer supported even though our subscriptions haven't run out yet. So I can't even post on their Forum.

Topic is Open I am using a laptop as a client but when trying to retrieve mail using Outlook it says unable to connect to the server.

I have configured my Outlook with the host IP address for incoming and outgoing mail servers and used the account name and password as set up in the users on Lanpro.

Out going smtp works fine. Also the mail is being retrieved ok by Lanpro from my ISP server and seems to be routed to the mailbox I have set up

Topic is Open My Lan Suite 2003 has been working OK until today, ran a full system scan to remove the Neskey virus. After going through all the requirements for it's removal when I restart Lan Suite it goes through it's pre boot sequence then shuts it's self down. Several attempts produces the same effect.

Any thoughts anybody.

Topic is Open An XP PRO machine on the network has started initiating web searches when looking for folders on the internal network!
e.g. explorer connecting to mapped drive X: on the server folder fenella\documents
LS2003 reports a proxy search for http:\\fenella\. has been requested.
When this times out after a few seconds and the proxy connection closes, the user can then get through to the file on the server!!
The w2000 machines on the network have the same software, same Anti virus etc. but do not behave like this.
Has anyone come across this behaviour?
regards -pk- Network call initiates proxy call!
