Topic is Closed Agree absolutely with Robert Williams that PP would be immeasurably improved if it offered a resolution higher than 200. My requirement is mainly the conversion of text files - typically in 10pt Arial, which reproduce onscreen and print greyed-out in PP. Hopefully the squirrels monitor these exchanges and will introduce a higher res version. Even if it cost a few $$$s more, it would still be a bargain. More on Resolution

Topic is Open Not only do PDF files do not show well scrolling through a PDF created by PRINT PACK is slow and jerky. And I'm talking a text only PDF. Other PDF documents created by other products scroll smoothly. Scrolling PDF Files is Slow

Topic is Closed Functionally this product works as advertised. I've created some PDF files from some Worddocs I have and I love the print to e-mail feature.

However, I don't care for the 200 DPI resolution of the PDF files. The screen resolution is not as I've seen with other PDF files created from other sources that appear sharper on the screen display. Also the 200 DPI resolution translates to poorer quality print when printing parts of the PDF created by Print Pack. Readable, but not sharp.

I have scanning software that produces PDF files and the screen displays and any prints of these PDF's are tack sharp.

I think the resolution needs to be at least 300 DPI. Can resolution be built into the drivers as an option?

Topic is Open Personally, I think this is a very cool program -- for what it's purpose is. It solved a major problem for me WITHOUT having to spend $$$ on Adobe Acrobat. I do agree that the lack of documentation is a hassle...but it appears from another post that they're working on that.

In the meantime...I'm hoping for suggestions on one file that wouldn't convert. Microsoft Word file - includes graphics (all .jpg). The first 2 graphics in the file convert into strange colors, while the remaining 10 converted just fine. I tried saving these two graphics as .tif - same error. Any ideas? Any ideas/suggestions?

Topic is Closed I really am disappointed with this software. After reading the various posts, I see I am not the only one wondering what gives with this program. I have three personal computers and I am not sure how I am *pirating* software since I purchased software for my use. This was my first shock. The lack of any written documentation on how to use this program was my second. I have Adobe Acrobat 4.0 and 5.0--I don't even know why I am dealing with this product. I guess I need to learn that everything sent via my email is not necessarily as fabulous as it is made to seem. :-)
I just expected more from Blue Squirrel. Disappointed

Topic is Open I use the downloaded free 602Suite. It worked fine in limited trials. I bought the Print Pack 2001 after using it for a few trial runs, especially creating .pdf files for Acrobat Readers. Now my system freezes whenever I try to open a .doc file with 602suite. Any suggestions? I uninstalled redownloaded and reinstalled the free 602 suite to no avail. I'll try the same with the paid version of Print Pack. System Freeze-up

Topic is Closed It's a bit of a hassle, but if you paste the HTML from each of your pages into ONE BIG HTML FILE, you can print (convert) more than 1 HTML page. I tried it with a couple of pages, and it worked fine. (I assume no liability if there's a problem with this method with other machines. Be sure to back up your files!)
If you want a better-looking result, I suggest STARTING by composing the ebook into one big page. It's not what you would do if you were creating pages for a website, but it will give more pleasing results when using this simple program.
Hopefully, technical support will read this message and confirm that my method is safe.
This product desperately needs some documentation! You can create multiple pages in 1 file

Topic is Closed I am at a loss at how to use Print Pack 2001. There is absolutely no documentation with the download version and the website tells you nothing. I set the different print drivers as default and can't get them to work. I was able to get a test page for print2pdf to work. Still unclear how to get it to work with other programs. It doesn't seem to work with Wordperfect 9.0. I think I might have wasted my money. Slightly steamed over poor documentation.
Thanks Basics on use?
