Topic is Open After installing the printer onto a TS (Win2k) server, is a user has admin rights, all works properly.

If they do not have admin rights, once you click on OK button the screen flashes, you can see the printer icon in the tray, but there are no jobs and you never see the Print2PDF dialog.

Thanks for any help. Terminal Services Users

Topic is Open I enquired about upgrading from 6.0 to 6.1, was told to just download the 6.1 version and load it in over 6.0, which I did. When I now try to Print2PDF from within Word 2000 (by clicking in the P2PDF icon)I get the following error message and am then kicked out of Print2PDF <Method 'ProcessFile_EPDF' of object '_Connect' failed>. Never saw this with version 6.0. I tried uninstalling and re-installing and still get the same error message. I can print2PDF using the print to facility but it would be nice if the P2PDF button worked. Anyone else experience this? Any suggestions? I would submit a ticket but since I originally bought verson 6.1 back in September 2006 I no longer appear to qualify for free support, which is given for 2 months from date of purchase. Topic is Open Is there any way in Print2PDF to automatically check for the latest version on the product? I am currently running 6.0.06.... It appears 6.1 is the latest version. I assume we are entitled to 6.1.

Thanks..,,,, Upgrade to 6.1

Topic is Open As part of our disaster recovery plan we use the Print Migrator tool, available from Microsoft to grab a snapshot of our print servers once a week. The snapshot includes all the Printer Queues, the associated drivers, ports and monitors. Has anyone used this tool along with Print2PDF? Did it work, or did you have to re-install Print2PDF on the new server or rebuilt server?

I'm getting ready to run a disaster recovery simulation and any info on what I might expect to see would be appreciated.

Topic is Open Upgraded from print2PDF SE 5.0 to 6.1. Have noticed that after re-installing the Print2PDF on the local workstation that some users are recieving the following error following the reboot:

Print2PDF error code 80040154. Class not registered

To correct the problem I've had the users uninstall the print2PDF printer on their local workstation and re-install it, and then reboot again.

The users that have experienced the problem were all running Windows XP SP2 with all the security patches thru December 2003 installed.

I suspect the problem has to do with installing the Print2PDF 6.1 over the top of the 5.0 install without first uninstalling it. Print2PDF error code 80040154.

Topic is Open In nearly every AutoCAD drawing that I create a PDF out of with Print2PDF 6.0, I lose a few lines from the drawing. If I go back into the drawing and draw over the lines with another line of the same type, those lines will then show up on the PDF output. This is annoying and time-consuming.
