Topic is Open We have using Lansuit 2004 mail server, this is very much help to as. I am very happy to use lansuit 2004.. Presently we have one problem; our clients are mailing me, we got the same mail more than 3 time, please check.. Then I do some thing, but till now I am facing same problem.. kindly help me.. i don't know what to do... please mail me support@bgtek.com, i am waiting for the mails.. Topic is Open Greetings, I have been able to run my own network at home effortlessly for years using your software, on Win98. Needless to say I’m disappointed that the freeware version is going away; however, I understand the business reasons for doing so. I can't help but to wonder if it’s a mistake to phase out the freeware product. I would have never been exposed to LanSuite otherwise; and thus I would have never recommended it to anyone. I would guess the plan was to maintain a freeware version long enough to create sufficient exposure and generate market awareness? I would say that plan worked well, and other companies do it. But I’m shaking my head wondering what the replacement at home for me will be. If I can’t find something just as easy and free to run, I suspect I’m in for a good dose of Linux exposure, which is okay, but I don’t think that is where 602 is wanting to steer us. Dan Freeware Going Away?

Topic is Open Hi all, Now that the cheapest version of LanSuite is going to cost a minimum of $200, perhaps it would be an idea for Software602 to introduce a version which would still be free of say 5 users but to do away with all the bells and whistles of proxy server, internet connection sharng, firewall, anti-virus etc., etc., i.e. just a simple and straightforward mail server. Any thoughts? All the best, Glen LanSuite 2007??

Topic is Open Now that software602 has stopped offering the 5 user free version, can pre-existing free users continue to use the software as free? Will it expire in 30 days? Obviously, I would never be able to update ever again. What happens to current "free" LAN SUITE software?

Topic is Open I've checked the KB article and SMTP server is enabled, the autodetection in the client correctly finds the server, NAV is disabled. No firewall. The error still comes up. I'm able to telnet to port 25 on the server (ONLY when 602LS is running). I'm running XP and 602LS 2004. Any ideas? "Cannot run program for sending fax"

Topic is Open Hi all - I am having a problem with our new website in FireFox. Our new site uses CSS. When viewed using IE all is well. When viewed using FireFox, the CSS are not being applied. We did the development of the site on a local computer and it opens fine in both IE and FireFox when opened on the local computer. When we put it up on the web server the symptom described above occurs. After posting to several web based forums, we received several replies stating that the css files we being sent to the browser from the web server as MIME application/octet-stream instead of text/css as is required. I tried to find a section of the configuration for 602LAN Suite 2004 regarding MIME types and found nothing. Can anyone help us? WWW Server MIME question

Topic is Open hi below are suggestions / questions for future : 1/ Is /will 602 be Multi domain ? 2/ when will be able to action send /receive for one single account i/o all accounts .. 3/webmail : any hope to be able to fwd mail in sent items 4/ why cant we use consol while server is running 5/ why cant one account be temporarily disabled ... 6/ when will the server listing be by account ? thx n brgds vincent suggestion / practical questions re 602 lan

Topic is Open Can anyone recommend any networking consultants that are familiar with 602LAN SUITE 2004 and either do phone consultations or on-site assistance near South Jersey or Philadelphia? I have called my local gurus and they seem put off by my insisting on using 602LAN SUITE. (I mean come one, who doesn't want to use Exchange Server?? sheesh) Combined with an unrecoverable crashed hard drive and corrupt backup tapes, we are up a creek here... It has been three years since I had to do a new install, and I guess we have enough quirks here to boggle this old befuddled brain that I just cannot seem to get everything working. (never mind that I just don't have the time to do this myself now; I am trying to keep my own clients happy!) So I am looking for someone knowlegeable enough I can hire to talk me thru this mess and assist with getting us back up and running. Is there a network of 602LAN SUITE consultants out there that anyone knows of? Thanks for any and all suggestions. michael consultants?
