Topic is Open Error message: Anti-Virus updating was not successfull: Invalid signature of file C:\Programfiler\Software602\602LAN SUITE\bdupdate\Plugins\emalware.068.gzip! Does anybody know what this is and how to solve it? Regards Geir Error updating the antivirus.

Topic is Open Hi my users (on a domain) all brows the internet thru LS proxy server (NAT is off) and I uses WSUS to get the latest patches and updates from MS, my domain PC get the updates from my WSUS server no problem but my laptop users (not part of the domain)are trying to get it directly from MS update web site but keeps getting an error 0x80072f78 if I connect them direct to my DSL router no problem but as soon as thy go thru LS proxy it happens again So I tested one of my users PC that is part of the domain to download direct from MS update site and get same problem any body else get the same problem? Not such a big issue for my normal users but for my laptop users a bit of a problem. Proxy and Windows update???

Topic is Open I'm getting a new error with my LanSuite Error initializing SMTP port - Port already used? I've been using this for SSL with ATT Yahoo, with the special SSL port, and its been working fine til a few weeks ago, but now there seems to be a conflict with port 25. I'm not really sure where to look to correct this port conflict. Ideas??? Thanks John New error "Error initializing SMTP port"

Topic is Open I keep getting an error message that the free version has a maximum of 5 users allowed. I know this and only have 5 users but I keep on getting this message when I open an internet connection. When I open Lansuite I see a message saying 7 addresses for 5 users. Where do I find out what these 7 addresses are? 602 lansuite 2004 version Thanks max users on free version

Topic is Open HI there , I have use lan2004 for long time, and I like,the product. My recent problem is that I do get a lot of spam, I have build up a list and now needs to know if there is any way to upload this list one time. The problem is that I want to stop lan602 from downloading the emails, I am using adsl and this chaw my bandwidth to stop it only in outlook, then the server already downloaded the mail. Topic is Open our firewall allows for NAT Inbound Load Balancing which would allow us to have 2 mail servers live on the network and if the primary fails, emails would be automatically directed towards the live backup. what is the best way to take advantage of this feature with 602 lan suite 2004 to try and eliminate having a single point of failure (software crash on a weekend, someone pouring soda in the server, etc). redundancy

Topic is Open Hi me again I’m having problems with the proxy in the way that browsing the internet becomes very slow, when I look at Lansuit it tells me that I have over 50 proxy connections but when I look at the IP’s (Users have static IP’s) using the internet I only see 3 or 4 IP addresses browsing the internet and when I stop Lansuit and start again all is back to normal sometimes it takes a few minutes then it is back to + 50 proxy connections and sometimes it takes much longer I have a total of 40 PC’S on the network of witch only 5 have permanent internet available I have set IP filter to my internal network I have disabled my Web Admin as it did not asked for a Username and password and have disabled the WWW too witch did not helped. Anything else I can do? Proxy too many connections
