Topic is Open I know they are not in LS. One can sort of emulate them with filters and always including self in cc of message. But please could you gove me an idea of when they might be added?

I finally found a spam filter to tack on before LS to solve the whitelist problem.

Management is pushing hard for this feature. They are talking Exchange. NO! Lord NO! Active directory, CAL's, virus vulnerabilities and $$$! Help! Sent items folder needed!

Topic is Open A few of my users are getting a Blue Screen of Death going into 602pro mail occasionally. The message is Irql_not_less_or_equal... ntoskrnl
(these are NT4.0 workstations) The 602pro mail client is ver 3.32B
Any clue what I can do to eliminate these? This is an old version of 602pro, I don't know whether an upgrade would help and what is involved in doing that.

Topic is Open Ok, here's my setup and what I'm trying to do......

I have a WAP/router with 3 wired ports, built in DHCP, and a built in NAT firewall. It is located in my house and is being used to share my cable internet connection, and it is getting it's internet connection IP address info from my ISP's DHCP server. My main home PC is plugged into one of the WAP/router's wired ports. I am using wireless PCMCIA cards in 2 notebooks to access the internet through the WAP/router. The WAP/router's default IP settings for on my side of the NAT firewall are 192.168.254.254/255.255.255.0 and it's DHCP scope is 192.168.254.1-40, and it is assigning addresses from this range with its own address (192.168.254.254/255.255.255.0) as the DNS and gateway for the desktop and the notebook DHCP clients.

Out in my shop I have a multihomed Win98SE machine with a wired NIC and a USB wireless NIC connecting to and getting it's internet access through my WAP/router. The USB wireless adapter isusing the WAP/router's DHCP so it's IP is 192.168.254.3/255.255.255.0 and it's gateway and DNS are 192.168.254.254 (the WAP/router). The wired NIC on this machine has manually assigned IP settings of 192.168.0.1/255.255.255.0 and no gateway or DNS assigned. The wired NIC is plugged into a 5 port ethernet hub and I want to be able to plug other wired machines into this hub and get access to both the wired and wireless subnets through the multihomed Win98SE computer.

So, what I am trying to do is get the multihomed Win98SE system perform the following functions.
1) IP routing between the wired and wireless sides of my two networks so that I can connect to shared drives & printers, by either name or IP address, from any machine on the wireless side to any machine on the wired side and vice versa - with no firewall between them.
2) Provide DHCP services in the 192.168.0.x/255.255.255.0 range to all of the wired clients in the shop and,
3) Provide access to the shared internet connection for the wired clients in the shop through my WAP/router
4) Get all of the clients into the same workgroup (if possible) - though this is the least important of the things I'd like to do

Can 602Pro LAN be configured to do all of this? I look forward to any responses (and even configurations tips if you are so inclined) from those of you who are already familiar with the features and functions of the product.

Thanks in advance,

Topic is Open I installed 602Pro LAN Suite 2000 1 week ago and since doing so I have been scanning my computer using the shields up function at www.grc.com . It shows (periodically) that the http, smtp & pop3 ports are open for a period of about 10 minutes. I have configured the IP filter to restrict all access from outside our network, and I am using Zonealarm, but it does appear to me that 602Pro LAN SUITE 2000 is not secure. I can find nothing in the documentation to help. Does anyone have any ideas? Securing HTTP, SMTP & POP3 Ports

I could manage to get Mail Server running, I have my POP3 server from ISP, in my Domain 3people are using 602pro to send and receive mail, and other 2 people connecting to ISP's POP3 send and receive Mails. The Problem I have here is, when I try to send a mail to that 2people from this existing users to them. It says the user doesnt exists, rest everything working fine, like sending mails to others, other than my DOMAIN users.
